what parts are best for an rx-8

so i just got an rx-8 and there has been many discussions about about what intake or what exhaust system is best.. and i really want to know what is the best..

what intake and exhaust brand is the best? any suggestions or criticisms?

i just want whats best for my car ya know!

As far as power, there isn't much of a difference between stock and aftermarket. Unless you get a catless midpipe, or high flow cat, the exhaust won't do much.

I've heard a lot of good things about Racing Beats products... At least they are honest about their claims.

do some searches and listens to the posted sounds, cuz thats the main effect of our intake and exhaust upgrades.

I prefer racing beat. I've heard and seen a couple of others and am much more impressed with my Racing Beat intake/exhaust. That's just my .02 though.

I'll give you a word of advice on this. My SR midpipe failed after about 2 years. I just purchased a RP supercat (arrived yesterday), and it looks pretty good, very well made. Just like it says above though... search through the Aftermarket Performance section for more information.
