Of course Manhattan Mazda damaged my glovebox damper (it drops straight down when glove is opened- no dampening anymore) when they did the airbag recall. Now they want my car for a few hours or overnight just to find out what parts are needed- then I have to bring it back to get the work done. WHat a pain! If anyone has the part #'s that were replaced- maybe I can convine them to order the parts.

BTW I would never reccomend thier service dept. It's just they are closeby.

 

tell them it is in the litature they got from Mazda that explains how to perform the recall. the part number for the dampner is FE01-64-08XB

I take mine in tomorrow and have printed out the info on the recall and will bring it in to show them before they break mine!
