What should I be looking for?
Ive just gotten out of schooling, and have had a saab for a while now. I am looking to trade it in for something quite a bit more sporty. I have my eye on a 2004 RX8 and have a few questions before i go blatently into buying one.
This is the exact car in question:

It has the grand touring package, 6spd manual, it also has the rear wing, rotary accent, and appearance package.
the car is sitting at 71k which im guessing is pretty good. I plan to take a look at it tomorrow for a test drive and a run over, along with a trade in appraisal on my current car.
Again though, what I am wondering is what I should be looking at when checking it out. I know with saab you want to drop the oil pan, lissen for turbo problems, and check the oil lines. What is it in an RX8?
Any help much appreciated!

Searching would be a big help to you, this gets asked more than a few times every week.
Compression test is the main thing to get done so you know how much life the engine has. Make sure to find out if you can get all the service records for it, if its been maintained at the dealer all its life thats not a problem. It could be a problem for you if the engine dies and you do not have maintenance records. Try and find out what warranty work it has had done already.
