what vin? what month?

what vin? what month?
ive heard of alot of little problems with the rx-8, the ac, the m-flash, very low milage ect. My friend is planning on buying an 8, what vin number or production month is the best bet of him getting a better car, thanks

Im having est. 15mpg since I bought it. (650miles now w/o dsc,tcs)
Mine is built in april, 2004. Does it have the m-flash?
I think it should do at least 18mpg, right?

VINs that ends with digits greater than 35536 would be best (as it should come with the 'M' ECU flash from factory), plus whatever updates/fixes that have been TSB'd for earlier builds.
that's what I've been doing searching the VINs on MazdaUSA website, and thus far I've found ONE RX-8 in my area that I want that meets the VIN requirement.
