I drove from Atlanta to Houston in one day. On another I made it from Dallas to somewhere in Arizona. And on the last I made it from somewhere in Arizona to San Francisco. I drove cross country only stopping at night for sleep so all day however long that was. 4000miles total.

The farthest I've ever driven my car one way was around 90 miles. The longest drive (time-wise) was when I was stupid and attempted to drive home in SD county from OC on a Friday afternoon during the summer. It took about 2 hours 15 minutes to go the 45 miles.
So, I guess I lose. :D

First day I owned it, I drove from San Luis Obispo to Huntington Beach.
approx 258 miles.
BEAUTIFUL drive down the California coast...too bad I was driving slow enough to drive Miss Daisy. (damn break-in period)

Back in June, I drove from Chicago burbs to Ames, IA. Took my son to college orientation. About 350 mi. each way. Had the cruise control set at 100 for about an hour. Light traffic on Interstate 88.

My mom lives in Newton (IA), and you drove right past her house (views of beautiful Interstate 80). Mine has been to her house at least 4 times this year. I know exactly where you had your cruise set.
Not that I'd ever do anything like that. Heavens no.

Drove from orlando, Through Atlanta, and made it to a small town 40 minutes south of Chicago before the rain and small hail conviced me to stop for the night. Would have made it all the way home if I could have....

I made the same trip only I think I drove a bit further on I-80 than you did Go48(I made it to New Columbia for the night).I figured I could have stayed in New England, and had better weather than we did at the Revolution, and the drive home. That whole trip out to Indy was fu,and the car was a blast to drive that whole way,but I don't think I would do it again unless the event was in some warmer months. That and the fact that I don't have my 8 anymore.I must say the 8 was probably the most comfortable car I have driven long distance, and I even felt safe in the car during the blowing snow.My whole trip was around 2200-2300 round trip for the Revolution. All for a day of auto cross, and being awoken at 1am by the police department for sleeping I guess.
