The catch is that it's a scam, obviously.

it's basically a 10 cent resistor in a box, with two wires soldered to each end, the seller bribes people who discover this to leave positive feedback or he will not give a refund…

Every get that feeling when you do an oil change that your car is faster or smoother? I do and I'm an engineer and I should know better, I think it called the placebo effect...

I think key phrase is "designed to increase horse power." Yeah, it may have been designed to but does it work? There is a BIG difference between being designed to perform and actually performing.

DO Not BUY it!!!! I bought one for my rx-8 it mess up the cpu, massflow sensor, spark plugs.
My car is in the mechanic for about 2 weeks already.

At the begginig it did a great thing but then sudenly it start to fail. Man very bad things happens. Remember if you mess with the mass flow wires you mess the car. I know now.

".....designed to increase more performance..." hhaha what does that mean?
".....designed for lower idle take off..." does he mean you have more low end TQ so you can launch at a lower RPM?

lol, if you right click his page, it makes a pop-up that says "buy it now"

15-25hp ... for 10 bucks, this would be the best power/cost product ever.

197.98 retail....and he is selling them for 10 bucks? nowhere else is the world is that THAT kind of mark up.

Be happy you're on this forum so you can learn these things and won't get ripped off or scammed like that.

I thought the expression was "If it sounds too good to be true, hurry and buy it before everyone else finds out about it."

Hmm, if it's the other phrase, that would explain all the useless crap in my garage and empty checking account.

i hear ya ... cept those ginsu's man ... for real they were the best. i chopped off the bottom of my christmas tree one year (yea, new grad=no saw), washed it off and it worked like new for the rest of its life (which is still going on at my cousin's house!)

The infomercial that's got me wanting to buy now is the one for that soldering iron that goes from like 800 degrees to safe-to-the-touch in like 1 second, and runs on TWO AA BATTERIES!

Granted, I have nothing in my house that needs soldering. But it's SO COOL.

Plus it comes with a free wire stripper.

Ron Popeil has wet dreams about guys like me.
