What's the worse spill you have had in your RX8

Almost dumped a gallon of cooked pinto beans in the passenger floorboard oops.
And over the years have spilledd coffee coke mayonaise from hamburgers etc.
What's the worst spill/mess you've dealt with in your rx8?

Bought a used replacement tire. Put it in a thick Hefty trash bag. Put the tire on the light "parchment" leather back seat. Left it there for 5 days (I don't have a garage) until I could get to the tire store to have it mounted, only to discover faint black imprint of tire tread on both seat cushion and seat back. No one could see it except me, unless you looked really really close. Tried to remove with Lexol leather cleaner. Didn't work. Tried Zaino leather cleaner. Didn't work. Tried rubbing alcohol and stiff brush. Got out most but not all of it, and removed the nap, or texture, from the leather. Ordered replacement seat covers from Mazda. $1,100 + $75 installation.

Vomit.....THAT'S ROUGH!!!!! The stench lasts and lasts. My stepdaughter got a DUI in my Honda element last year and puked all over the inside (pure alcohol). Te car then sat impounded (during the hot summer) for 3 days. When I went to get it the smell was unbelievable.

Tell me about it! To think what I could've done with that money. Fortunately, the 8 is the only thing in my life that I'm totally **** about.

The worst spill ive ever had is Reese's Peanut Butter cups all crunched up and stepped on in my front passenger floor. Seems like my lil cousin was smart enough to cover it up with the mat though...I didnt discover it until the chocolate had melted into the floor. They cleaned it up as good at possible at the dealership I work at...she isnt allowed to have candy in my car anymore

Coke during a crash

My worst spill was a stire foam cup full of coke. A lady used a side rode to do a U turn and pull out in front of me. Crushed the right front fender also damaging much structure in the front. Insurance settlement = 14,000. Had the car for 3 weeks. Got it back and is like new again. Anyway the crash caused the coke to fall out of my hands as I tried to dodge her.

I spilled some used oil in the trunk, Couldn't resist driving crazy to the parts store and the jug of oil tipped over and some spilled on the carpet.

Doesn't take the cake for this one?

He's been complaining about that fish smell for two years.

Maybe he'll chime in and tell us how he got it .

i spilled some portuguese food in my trunk. i cleaned it up, and the smell was mostly gone, except hot days...it was mostly oil and some seasoning type thing. it was really good food. i sold the car a little later, so i dont care...if someone has an 04 silver rx8 with a mazdaspeed spoiler, greddy exhaust and tons of problems, and a trunk that smells like pork..you can thank me...for the smell at least

I've had a pool of antifreeze in my backseat for about half an hour after I put a half-closed bottle of it in the backseat. The backseats are surprisingly watertight, I thought it would have soaked in somewhere between the cracks. Fortunately for me, the leather cleaned up just fine with no smells.

hmmm for me? nothing major really i dont allow anyone to eat or drink in my car. I am the rule to the drinking exception but 90% of the time its only water. There is 100% no smoking in my car either - unless you want to die.

I dont care HOW bad i need a cig ill pull over at a gas station and chill for 5 minutes if i need one that bad.

In terms of spills - i spilled a bit of Zaino Z-7 Car wash liquid in my trunk - the trunk smelled GREAT!

hmm...well I don't yet own an RX-8, so I can't really spill anything in it...

But in my FC, the worst I've ever spilled is...absolutely nothing! I'm with Toxin...no food or drink in my damned car! Not even water...unless it's in a bottle.

I once left a 20L can of paint in the boot & forgot it was there . I went around a few choice corners real quick - as you do in the 8 .
Next day I opened up the boot to find everything was a lovely shade of green .
Spent the next couple of hrs tearing out all the boot linings & hosing them down . Luckily it all came out

From: Mine goes round and round
I'll share this here, wasn't in my 8. An older TL, had my daughter's infant car seat base in the back. A friend and me went to the store, I put a grocery bag on the car seat base. We get home, I go to take the bag out, and I'm looking at the underside of a milk container. WORSE: I'm looking at the underside of an EMPTY milk container!!!

Took the base out, wiped it all down, got some leather cleaner, wiped more, dried, wiped, etc.... Thought I got it all out. Three days later (warm weather), I couldn't even get in my car. I came home from work and told my wife I had to take my back seat apart. Removed it, and found a puddle of milk sitting in a small depression in the seat frame. NASTY! Bought this enzyme cleaner, sprayed the crap out of the foam underside of the seat, scrubbed the metal frame, the seat belt, everything. Worked like a charm, but it was close there for a while.......

The entire contents of a hot smoked meat (kinda like pastrami but sliced thick and served hot) sandwich from Shwartz's Deli.

Half wound up on my jacket, the other half on the center console, some of it between the console and the seat.

That was six months ago and to this day, I swear I still smell mustard..........

So far nothing! I don't allow any one to eat or drink in the car and if I have to get groceries then I put it in the trunk.
