So then, the question is how far into triple digits can you take the "sweeper" part of this long ramp? That looks like something I'd go out of my way multiple times a week to run, btw.

1/2mv, I'd guess our cars can pull a max of slightly more than 1.5 Gs; unless you regularly blackout on rollercoasters at your local theme park I don't think the ramp you took could actually have that physical effect on you/your passengers. It was a cool story nevertheless.

Depending on the time of night and where I am...
Going to my office getting off the expressway there are nice little curves that I can take at 90-100, enough to really feel the side force of the car and if you arent careful, enough to lose it.

Going from my office onto the expressway there is a nice turn that i usually top at 110, again, enough to feel yourself on the side of the car and enough to lose it if you arent careful.

Both of these are done without DSC or traction control, so yeah I hold the button for 7 seconds. Plus I drive without traction all the time, for whatever reason I feel like I have more control with it off, probably cause of the autocrosses.

With a completely OEM RX-8 - no chance in Hell.

To pull 1.5 Gs, you'll need at the absolute least extremely sticky tires.

You'll need more than that. Racing beat pegs the completely factory RX-8 @ .89 on the skidpad and ~.92 after the RB sway bars. I don't know of a street car out there that would do 1.5g. I don't think even the likes of the Ariel Atom come anywhere near that.

It's not the tightest curve though, and you have plenty of time and room to slow down so you dont lose it.

Granted, if one would consider these street cars, here are some numbers & associated prices. :

MODEL | Gs | VALUE
Saleen S7 V8 1.10 $580,000
Ferrari Enzo* 1.01 $652,830
Lamborghini Murcielago V12 0.90 $273,000
Maserati MC12** V12 0.98 $840,000
Mercedes-Benz SLR V8 0.97 $455,500
Porsche Carrera GT 0.99 $460,400

*Out of production.
**Maserati performance data is a combination of manufacturer data and estimates.

Saleen FTW!

Kinda, the 1st one to my office is a long off ramp with two curves, the second is an on ramp with one curve that is tighter but shorter than the 1st set.

True.. but that still doesnt stop people from hitting 3 digits , racing and hitting corners fast on a daily or weekly basis.

I can say i have never hit a corner going over 80
