Exclamation Wheel well fell off!?!?! help please....

So Im driving down the road and I see an RX8 up ahead, I immediately downshift and catch up to him at the next light. We both roll down our windows and I immediately say "hey nice car" and he responds " same to you but whats that dragging under your front bumper?" I was clueless..... I get to my girlfriends house which was initially where I was heading (which is 30 miles from mine) and look to see part of my wheel well was HANGING DOWN DRAGGING ON THE ROAD!!!!! its the part that has the little air dam in front of the tire. Being 30 miles from home I had no choice but to drive home with it dragging on the ground. I make it all the way home and as Im pulling into my driveway I hit a little bump to get onto my driveway and literally ripped the dragging piece OFF!!!! Theres still a pile of plastic pieces at the end of my drive way! Now at highway speeds (70-80mph) it feels like my cars pulling left ( same side of missing wheel well) and I just had an alignment 5000 miles ago and my air pressures are all the same. Is this missing piece harming my car in any way? Im bringing it to the dealership tomorrow but I guess Id still ask my fellow RX8 owners for some extra advice! Thanks guys.

The wheel well piece shouldn't be making your car pull left. The dealership will charge you up the (_!_) for a new piece.

Do us a favour and post a picture. I know the piece; it's held on with just a few bolts which probably loosened off or maybe they got knocked during parking. Once the bolts fall out the plastic will drag on the ground.

You may just be looking for something else wrong. Highways have truck ruts which tend to pull the low profile tires on the RX8 all over the place. Try a nice flat parking lot and see if it still pulls, especially under braking.

well, that was the plan, but my driveway ripped it all off! and the wheel well has been dragging so alot of it was road burned anyways. My main concern is if its hurting anything if its not there, mainly in the rain.

Well, it's there to prevent debris from going in. It's not too much of a problem but if you do live in isolated areas then you might get animals crawling into it since it's warm in there.
