Where did you get your Clear Bra?

Obviously there are several option on eBay. I see some cheap stuff then I see some stuff from 3M.

My front bumper is starting to get pretty messed up and it has become unbearable. I guess I'm going to get some SS touch up paint and go to town, but want to protect it afterward.

From what I read from the other members was that the 3M is the way to go? Anyone have any experience with this? Thanks ahead of time!

Clear Armor in your local area dealer. It is made by 3M. I did it to RX8 since day one. It is still like showroom condition.

It is clear bra. So it is hard to see in digital photos with low resolution. You could stop by your local dealer to see the sample though.

I have used both the Ebay stuff (http://stores.ebay.com/Xtremecity) and 3M.

I would not buy the 3M stuff, as for the money it is very very expensive and not noticeably better than the ebay stuff. Both stretch well, and peal off just fine even after being on the car for years.

But if you have a lot of chips, you will need to fill them flat with paint, or they will show up underneath with both films.

I went to StarShield Armor here in Cali. They did it custom for my bumper and the job was excellent.

Custom job on my front bumper ran 450. As long as I don't have to get a repaint for a full year, it'd be worth it. I went through 4 repaints in the past two years before i got the clearbra on in April.

I was going to do this but now its not even worth it. My bumper has gotten so messed up from people who need to ******* learn how to park, they have cracked my paint and cracked the BUMPER itself. I'm leaning to just get a Veilside kit for the car when I get the money.

Having watched the installation it is not anything I would attempt. I envision alot of cussing and wadded up plastic if I did.

I have used these guys (in GA) a buncha times. Always professional and customer satisfaction a priority. Cant say anything about the other instl centers though.

My only suggestion is get an experienced crew to install the kit.

Xpel is another option. Mine has been on for a few years now and I am still happy with it. If there isn't an Xpel dealer by you most shops that deal in this type stuff can install it.
