I noticed that mine was made in japan, and i wondered whether any were made elsewhere and whether it made a difference.

So where were others' 8s made, and have you had any problems? I'm thinking of compiling some kind of chart.

 

They are all built in the same plant in Japan.

one plant but they have two assembly lines for the motors .

There is the "low power" line - they all go to the USA .
The "high power" versions go to everyone else . They are a lot faster too . We all get under 14s for the standing 1/4 mile .

 

I've actually got a special edition! The dealer told me it was the only one made in Japan.
