White 05's are here!
When I arrived at Mazda South this morning I saw a nice white RX-8 sitting out front. It was a base automatic and it looked great. I think we either have some more coming in this week or they might also be here already, I just have not made the rounds or asked our inventory manager yet.
I'll post some pics as soon as I can.

I'm excited that the 05's are coming in, since that is what I will be buying. But I can't say I am excited about the new "color", white. Just doesnt do anything for me.

I spotted a white RX8 at Oaktree Mazda in Santa Clara CA. this morning.
Other than the color, I couldn't find anything that looked any different from the 2004 models. ...But then I only got a good look from the outside.
While it's pretty cool to see 2005 models available, I can't say I'm that excited about the color. It's kind of a peal white, not flat. From across the lot, it looked great. When I got up close however, I changed my mind about it. ...Some of you may disagree (And I'm fine with that), but personally, I'm just not that crazy about the white Mazda picked. It reminds me of the "Winter White" finish that Sony used on some of their 210 model AIBO's. Great color for a robot, ...not so great for a car.
...I'm still happy with my choice of Titanium Grey.

Anyone have any idea how much more I should expect to pay for an identically-optioned 05 over an 04 if, say, I was going to be buying in the very near future?

Stuck in a love triangle
I stillhavent seen a pic of a stock white Rx8. From the front Idont think it will lookthat good compared tosome other colors butthe side and rear should look really classy. I hopewhite becomes morepopular than titanium b/c Imtired of seeing so many people w/the same color as me

Is there some special deal with CA and the 05s? I stopped by a dealer yesterday in the DC area and asked when they'd be coming in, and I was told December. When I mentioned that CA had some of the 05s already, he said CA was a "special case?" BS, or do I really have to wait another 4 months?
