white circles on rear window?

The circles on mine appear usually when the window is foggy or frosted. I think they are there when they assembled the car, they used suction cups and whatever else they use to lift and hoist the glass and then placed on the car for installation.
My Accord had the same thing too...4 circles about the size of the top of a Gatorade cap. The circles went away when I wiped it with Windex.

I don't think what rotary9k is talking about is due to suction cups. I too have these tink (less than the size of a dime all over my windshield and rear window. They are barely visible except in the right light. It almost looks like an unevenly application of some coating or poor bonding between the glass and shatterproof material. I'll try and take a picture tonight and put it up here although it might be difficult to capture using a camera.

Polarized sunglasses will bring that out on all car windows that are viewed at an angle. Since the rear window is so angled, it is highly pronounced with the polarized glasses and sometimes visible without them.
I wouldn't worry about it. Chances are that if you change the glass it will be exactly the same.
Interesting uses of polarized lenses - the screen on cell phones and pda's and the displays on gas pumps. If you try to look at any of these screens through polarized glasses they will look black unless you turn your head or the screen sideways.

I've noticed this on every vehicle i've owned that has tinted back glass. For some reason it's more noticeable in new cars - cleaner glass maybe. First brand new car for me was an 85 Mustang GT...same circles you see in your 8. Think it's just part of the properties of the glass - no cause for concern.
