who can chirp 3rd gear?
i can get the tires to break traction for a bit when switching from 1st to 2nd, but not even close in 3rd. some here have claimed to do it with stock cars so im want to see who here can and who cant (shifting conventionally of course)
please list mods, flash and tyres(keep in mind that there are a few different "stock" tyres)

<raises hand> ...with shitty Potenza tires, winter streets, short and small titanium ball shift ****, and CZ Stage 2.
It doesn't really mean much, except for the fact that I shifted quicker than necessary (or properly). I've learned that shifting quicker but smoother makes better sense than trying to chirp the tires. It's fun though, but unnecessary

I did it twice unintentionally, but only once going into 3rd, I have a midpipe, 19" RacingHarts all around 275 in the rear and 245 in the front Hankook tires.
Oh and mine is bigger than yours! :D

I have been able to chirp third on the stock dunlops. Ever since it was broken in.
It's got the N flash and is a bone stock sports package.
On a side note, I never had the feeling that this car lacked in power.
As other have complained.
It was hard to judge though, because of my turbo Miata.
I never thought I would say that a car has to much power,
but that miata is scary sometimes. I launch it in second and it spins 4th.
Probably has to do with the fact of the 205's on the back

I DID!!!!
The other day...for the first time ever I chirped 3rd gear. I did not think the 8 had it in her, but she did it.
I have a base 6spd no mod's and th stock tires. I was well pleased...lol

um... bone stock base 6speed... well redline tranny and diff fluids... churp third all the time going from 2-3... no big deal. Actually, I've slowed down my 1-2 shift (if im redlining) due to excessive wheel hop and it STILL chirps...
