Who the F owned my car???
im so pissed off at the condition of my 8 right now its stupid. before i start on my venting story, my car is a 04 sport trim M/T with a current milage of 52k.
Okay, i bought this car about 2 years ago, about a month after i got my D.L. (my dad went on a car shopping spree) anyway we found this car, looked at it a the dealers yea it had a dent here a little scratch there... good deal at the time so we bought it. also my interior looks like the guy that had the car before me, hauled F-ing loins around cause my glove box or w.e you call it is so scratched up its crazy, the head unit is scratched too, but thats all the damage we saw not to mention it started to get a little late so we counldnt see everything.
About around mid winter i started to look at my car more, taking **** apart and what not... I found F-ing cement in my trunk along with nails a lot of nails. my rx badge fell off about last week, the idiot glued it with crazy or super glue, idk exactly what glue but i know its the glue thats not supposed to be on a car cause when it fell off it took off some of my finish and it looks like the finish is burn't. this also leads to and accident, how do i know? well there is an area on my rear fender that has been painted on the finish is really rough and your can see the scratches also i know that its been worked on cause when i open the truck the plastic part of the rear brake light is silver and my car is SS...
ill try to post up some pictures of the karnage if the weather permits. sorry for the lenght but LET THIS BE A LESSON; RESEARCH BEFORE YOU BUY!!!
P.S. sorry for grammer and spelling. haha

Sounds like a shitty body shop repair...and someone who didn"t care about looking after his car owned it before you
Kinda late to be whining now though
You can buy a great used glovebox..and put it in in about 5 minutes....and clean stuff up.....and make it great again

I don't know, you can't really blame the original owner when you're the one who bought it without a thorough inspection. At least it's a good lesson for next time you go shopping. Buyer beware, my friend.

Dude, you have had this car for TWO years and are just now finding this out.. LOL WTF??
As far as the scratched glove box goes, that's common, just the material it is made out of and the bad angle it is positioned, it is easily scratched. Sounds like you're a dollar short and a dollar late. Sell yours and buy mine, that's the only solution. >=P

all I have to say is its been 2 years......should have looked at the car more closely before buying it, so really I have no sympathy for you because ultimately yes the previous owner messed the car up but its your fault you bought it without looking into it better.

but ive seen all this, well most of it. but i just noticed HOW messed up it is... but i do believe it is a message from the gods to start modding, which i have. idk but im more calm now, i just had a pissy morning so i had to vent, i love the car runs like a dream except for the gas milage that went down. oh well im going to have to look aroud and change some parts out. haha

at this time, I think you might want to have a good bodyshop/garage to look at your car inside for any damage.
Its a bit late now but at least you know the true condition of the car ...
