Search for an 05 GT brand new. Easily $7-9K dropped right off the bat. Walked with mine for $25K 2 months ago. Now you should be able to get ever MORE knocked off considering how close we are to 2007s. Search hard for an 05...this years sales alone show that there are DEFINETELY some out there!
And congrats on the MT decision. You'll be amazed at the difference!

in my experience (one car...) it's worth it to get a lightly used car to get the price down even more. I got my '05 gt that was 9 months old with 14.5k miles in epic condition for 23k out the door...21.6k before TTL. Still great and no problems at all except for condensation in a taillight. best of luck and good choice.

New 05 Ti Gray GT with rotary accent pkg. and spare tire kit- OTD for $26k
Youre gunna realize what this car is really made for once you sit in your MT. Defenetly a decision you'll be very proud of.

More recently, my thoughts personally have been that, I figure that if your going to pay that much money for a car, go with it brand new. The extra money shouldn't be too expensive of a trade-off to the piece-of-mind you'll get knowing that yur the ONLY person who controls the shape of your engine.
Now don't mistake me...if we're talkin a $5,000 used car that's 6 years old, it's a different story obviously. By then, you usually can tell how it's been cared for.
Just a lil more $0.02. Or wait...would it be $0.04 now?
