Who has the most mileage ? Least Mileage?
Is your 8 your daily driver ? I wanna know if there are folks who drive their 8 to the ground.. And if so, have you had any problems with it yet so far ?
I'm still considering an rx8.. my possible new job may require me to drive 100km (62miles) per day or more.
365 days/year = 36,500 km per year (or 22 680 miles)
Thanks!

Well, least mileage is a dumb question.. cuz anyone who buys a new two automatically has the lowest mileage :D But i guess i can restate the question.. who drives their 8 the least on average ?

I have owned my rx8 for almost 4 months. I have averaged 56 miles on it each and every day since its birth. My best mileage has been 15.53 mpg. and my worst has been 12.97 mpg. I have charted every single tank of gas i have ran... I have also noticed that my mpg with 87 octane has been higher each and every time than when i have used 89 or 91 octane........

I drive just about exactly the same miles as you per year. A little over 22000 miles. So far, I have 16000 miles on the car, with no problems, other than taking it in for two recalls.

Ok, I WILL beat that !!!
Purchase date: 8-6-03
current mileage : 30,532 (and that's with taking a 2mo. break over the winter b/c the car does not move on snow)
6000 miles on my SECOND set of tires
no problems aside from a few bugs that Mazda had to work out in the very beginning and some minor fender benders/road hazards.
Worst mileage: ~18 mpg
Best mileage: ~25 mpg
I'm a fairly aggressive driver so I DO NOT understand how people are getting 15 mpg. That is friggin' ridiculous.
Regards,
Ryan
PS - yes, I have finally resigned myself to the fact that this car is being PILE-DRIVEN into the ground.

3 months, ~4k miles, never gotten better than 17 mpg- I DO NOT understand how people are getting above that consistently (but I really don't care ) Oh, yeah, and no problems yet.
