Way too many AT guys are being told to trade it in an get a MT.
Hold on here. Not every one can walk on a car lot and drive off with a $32,000 - $36,000 car!... I know I had my tail between my legs when I got the RX-8 off the lot and was praying every night I would not get that call; "Sorry we need you to bring back the car, we could not get you financed." We I got the 8 I was just getting out of a $13,000 01 Mitsu Eclipse @ 12%!!!. Now I'm in a stock 8 @ $32,000 @ 10% with the RX-8 for 7 years with a 7 warranty and road side assistance. I know own $26,000 on my RX-8 but my credit is for ****. So I'm glad I got the 8 well I did. It was the best thing that every happen to me and that I ever did.

All in all I love my 8 and will never give her up there is just to much sentimental value in my babe. Yea I wont a stick too but I also wont a 2nd RX-8 in White. So down the line I will have 2 kids LOL!!! one as a daily driver and one as a project car. Then again I wont a Supra too so I'll see what kind of 2nd kid I end up having.
Just food for thought for the owners that question why other owners purchased a AT 8 and not a MT 8...

...Im lost. Anyway, I find it completly weird that the auto is cheaper than the manual on the 8's. Everyother car I have seen it is the opposite.

 

its because the AT gets the lower powered 4 port engine

 

Well, for the mysterious 06 model, do you think Mazda will do a price adjustment of the manuals, since the Auto's now will get the 6-port? Or will they just keep it the same?

He got us into SEMA. You know when I got into that accident 5 omnths back I lost my job and was not working. I dont know how I did it. Well my Mom an Pop helped me out too. I started working this month and I need to pay back Ryan. I know just the thing to get him. I cant wait till I get on my feet by Jan an start getting parts for my 8. Feels good...

 

Man you payed a lot for a auto. I guess I got lucky with mine. The dealer I got mine from ordered to many white ones. So I walked out of the lot with a 6 MT sports package on white for $26K new.

 

If you read Dominion's posts backwards, they actually make more sense.
