Why do people not care
#27
Smoker I thought your idea was pretty good. Thanks for all the advise guys. I spoke with my insurance company and everything is going to be taken care of. I am going tomorrow to get an estimate. I will post how much the damage was. It shouldn't be too much since it was just the black plastic piece around the exhaust that was damaged.

No Prob dude. Hope my idea will work ..... just that sometimes I really hate to let people think that they can just come over here and damage my property which I bought with my hard earned cash. Might as well make it clear and let them know you are out looking for him and not just sitting back and let things happen.

The estimate came to 105.62. The piece that needed replaced was the right rear bumber guard, which was 42.30. So the labor cost more than the part, for anyone that was interested in knowing.

Once again, I DO NOT want to be associated with my age group. (I'm 18) I do not act like people in my age group, I do not think like them, and I do not wish to be associated with them.
Seems strange that someone chose a bow and arrow as a weapon rather than some form of gun. The odd thing is that the bow is an excellent choice for such a task. It's silent and there's no way to tell where an arrow came from. A gun is loud, and the bullet can be matched with the gun it was fired from. A BB gun just puts a dent in things. If they were trying to pop a tire, a BB gun wouldn't have penetrated. (To my knowledge) Look and listen, not many people have bows.
It was probably some stupid teen or group of teens who think it's cool to waste the time of other people. I guess they waste most of their time so they feel the need that other people should also waste time. I have no sympathy for vadals. A little over 10 years ago in my townhouse development someone shattered my the rear window of my mom's car with a baseball bat. My neighbor's car was also hit; the glass cracked so you couldn't see out the windshield but it didn't break. The real annoying thing with vadalism is that it wastes time, not just money. The worst vadalism act I've experienced was when I woke up the day after I found out my dad died and found that the mailbox had been swatted off its post. (I found out my dad died on Oct 30, the day before haloween, also known as mischief night.) The post was broken off about 1/3 the way up. It wasn't a big deal, but after I found out my dad died the day before I wasn't happy. The good thing was that one of my really nice neighbors put in a new mailbox post without being asked. I just saw him out there putting in a new post and I was pleasantly surprised. Remember, good people do exist!

It comes off really easily (snap-on) and 2 little plastic bolts.
I ordered mine from Rosenthal, even cheaper, for $31 + $7 S&H = $38, and put it on in a few minutes. Unless it's done already, you could do the same.
Either way, we're both lucky it it the cheapest part of the car.
