Why does my oil stick look like dirty vanilla ice cream?

Why does my oil stick look like dirty vanilla ice cream?
When I check my oil, the dip stick looks like thick dirty vanilla ice cream. It also has a fuel smell. Is it some main seal that i have been hearing about? any help is appreciated.
