Will 3'' QTP Cutout Fit Stock Exhaust

So guys i was wondering if any one could give me a quick answer if the Quick Time Performance electornic cut out will fit the stock exhaust....I figured in my head it would and the guy who wants to sell it to me said it shouldnt be a problem....

It is brand new and the price he is offering it to me i really cant pass up so i hope it will fit....

Thanks in advance....im just curious because i dont know the diameter of the stock exhaust....

Isn't the 3" cutout designed for 3" exhaust pipes? I don't think the stock exhaust is that big, but I'm not really sure.

If you have 3" pipe it will fit. If you don't have 3" pipe. Nevermind.

Stock is not 3" it is 2.75.

I know the stock is not 3'' but with a 2.75'' stock pipe the 3'' qtp y pipe and cutout should fit, right?

The QTP pipe will go over the stock exhaust. I hope your welding it on. Otherwise your gonna have to install some pipe to make it that size.

It will be fine then. Take some videos.
And might I suggest putting a piece of pipe on the outlet side of the QTP (maybe come out the side of the car in front of the rear wheel) so you don't scorch the under side of the car.

It is close enough. I suggest you either go around the edge of the stock pipe with a pliers and expand it a little bit so there ir no gap or do the opposite on the cutout. Just so you don't have to do that much filling.

Ya i gotta crawl under there and see where i want to put it so its not near anything bad haha....The price the dude offered it to me i just cant resist and i figured if the stock piping was big enough the 3'' wouldnt matter....coming next week

ya well after hearing all the catless midpipe/exhaust setups....i really dont fancy the sound of them or see myself getting annoyed with them so want to eventually go custom route....

My turbo tc was loud as **** with open wastegate dump and 3'' tbe but it was a mean loud not like some of the exhaust i hear for the 8 and this route i can open and close when i want to be loud and ive heard the 8 does very well with the cutout open....and for the price i couldnt say no

Your Tc is nowhere near the sound of a Rotary engine with open exhaust.

Check this link out. QTP
If the midpipe is still stock then it will have to be placed after the Cat.
