Winter is coming....

...and we are going to get the multiple thread we get every year about the RX8 in snow. Listen people, what is so hard to understand here. PUT FRICKIN SNOW TIRES ON THE CAR!...good. Now there is no more to discuss on the subject.

(ps. for the really dense people here...you need to use 4 snow tires not just two)

Let's not forget about the "What is this strange gunk on my oil dipstick?" theme for those of us who have the older 8s. You can have the Tech Bulletin work done or just keep dipping/wiping/dipping/wiping until you get a reading. But the gunk doesn't hurt anything.

now where's the fun in that? Especially if you are leasing the car. Heck if you financed it and you're making monthly payments on the 8, shouldn't you at least enjoy something from the money you're shelling out?? :-P

Ok Rotten, I will take your advice. But……….

Where do you put the snow tires. Will two fit on the hood, one on the roof, and one on the trunk? How do I keep them from scratching the paint? How do I make sure that they don’t fall off?

(I just couldn’t resist) LOL

I enjoy the fact that Im paying on a car that has no risk of being hit by some crazy *** driver in the snow, or getting stuck in the middle of my work parking lot. Oh no, it wont happen this year.

To park it or not? I guess it depends on your winter vehicle because life is too short to drive a beater. I like driving the 8 in the winter....lots of fun.
