Wonder what a quad tip on each side would look like.

Lets say like a zonda exhaust set up. Just on both exits. And merge the tips alittle closer together where their touching but not sharing the same port.

this is what you need on a rx8

It is not hard to imagine what it would look like. I can visualize it clearly in my mind's eye. But this look is more for 2009 models, and it would be better to have a bank of 32 exhaust tips of varying length like a pipe organ.
Each 4-fold increase of exhaust tip guarantees a small but noticeable acceleration increase.

It might look cool but it would cause a power loss in the engine. Due to the fact that of the 4 tips and only 3 exhaust ports on the engine.
I've always been tempted to cut a hole in the muffler and put a rotor shape pipe thru my rear rotary accent for a triexhaust to match the harmonicks of the engine for max power and sounds.
But for now the Fibonacci sequence allows for me to have a dual exhaust with 3 port exhaust from the engine it's a beautiful thing.

Might be 3 ports coming from the engine, but by the time it channels through a single pipe, its all dirrected in one spot, a single flowing port, you could have 8 tips lol, and it realy wouldnt make any differnce, back pressure would still be the same as long as you keep it in a moderate over all size, like 4". I'm sure you would have to merge the tips to not mess with the back pressure. Because going down to 1-1.5" tips per tip. Would mess with your power for sure.
Just thought it would look cool with a sick body kit or somthing =)
