So the hing in the window visor is broke and the whole time it was spliting up the panel. I just realized that it was broken down because it is hanging down. I could not get it to work so I pull the wire out from the visor. Now the radio/door electronics wont work and the engine light is on...anyone got any ideas?

Face your engine, lower right side of the car. It's got a cover. Search the forum, you'll find a picture.

well there is a thing you push on the wire to disconnect them. I not sure maybe in the process they touched eachother. I just checked the driver fuse box and replace a fuse and it didnt work. I dont know how to pull out the fuse in the engine compartment to check them out. (however they seem to be fine).

Just tape those leads to keep them from shorting each other out. And go no visor to save weight. Why pay money for plastic crap that's just gonna break eventually? Might as well have gone elise if you want to keep fixing flimsy plastic parts.

I did the absolute exact same thing. My visor broke and was hanging down so I tried to tear it off because it was in the way of my vision.
Turns out that the wires that lead to the light in the visor were not coated at the ends so the wires crossed and I though I burnt out my electrical system. The radio wouldn't start and I do think the automatic locks did either. Anyways, I took it to the dealer and played stupid and said it fell off. Mine was under warranty and hopefully yours is too. It just ended up being a blown fuse and they swapped it out in a few minutes and I was on my way.
If yours isn't under warranty, then there is a good chance they are trying to sucker you out of some money.
