The worst thing the stealership has done

As the title implies what is some of the worst things the stealership has done or not done they should have ill lead off.

1. Not changed the oil when brought in for oil change.
2. Not changed the oil filter(different oil change from 1) on a oil change.
3. Massively over filled the oil.
4. Clams to do a 42 point inspection marks tiers as good when wire is showing.
5. Didn't bleed the clutch line when they changed the slave cylinder (still debating if they even changed that)

I only go to the dealer for state inspections or if something is really broken and I'm out of idea's. However, for my 2013 inspection they told me my oil pan was leaking and I should have that looked into and just last week for my 2014, it was my water pump that was leaking. My oil pan was never leaking (i'm under there all the time) and I replaced my water pump a year ago with a REMedy unit and it's not leaking either.

Scumbags praying on non-car enthusiasts.

I try to do as much as possible myself. While I had my V8 Ranger, I asked for conventional oil and they put in synthetic. Had them drain it right then and there and replace it with conventional oil. They were a little butt hurt but I asked for conventional not synthetic.

Guess I'm lucky. I've been going to Wayne Mazda in northern NJ for 8 years and have no complaints. My mechanic there owns an RX-8 himself, so I'm happy to have him work on my car. And the only work I've needed is routine maintenance.

Wayne Mazda has a very good reputation. Even nycgps likes them.

I've been very happy with Rosenthal Tyson's Mazda. Just a little nervous about them now, though. Oil change before last the service writer I've been dealing with from the beginning was gone, replaced by a new guy. Last oil change that new guy was gone, replaced by another new guy. Turnover isn't good.

Over the long run I've been happier with dealers than with most other places. Maybe I've just been lucky with the quality of dealer service departments in the areas where I've lived. I've had too many independent and non-dealer shops do things that caused me to never patronize them again.

I never sent my car for repairs on a dealership, and never will, unless if its for a warranty purposes only.
