Would you trade in your rx-8 for an evo?

i've thought about trading my 8 for a evo plenty of times, but once I get inside the car I back out everytime, I cant deal with the looks. It decent from the outside, but crap on the inside. You got of think of it in different ways, you would be giving up your 8 for power, a lot of power at that, but you would dramatically lose the looks. To me the evo looks like the inside of my old 94 accord. It's a great performance car, if that's what your looking for. But for an everyday kind of car, the rx8 tops them all.
Also not sure if your married or not , or even have a girlfriend, But I much rather think a chick would rather hop into a Rx8 then a Evo. lol

I spend more time INSIDE a car rather then outside staring at a vehicle... so interior neeeeeds to be top notch..
and the RX-8 has an amazing interior... i would say even better than most cars out there! Compared to the EVO. the interior of the mazda looks luxurious compared to the evo... it looked cheap.

My issues have been mainly with the dealer, not with the car. The only realy problems I've had with the car are squeaky brakes, alignment is a little off, and a rattle (which I've fixed).
And don't try to be smart with the username comment, I've been using this username for the past week and a half (probably a bit longer actually).

I'd say I see them every day (evo) but it's really just the same guy on my way to work. LOL
I do see that car more than I see other RX-8s unless I happen to drive past a Mazda dealership.
No, I wouldn't trade for one. I don't care too much for the looks. It might be great for other purposes, but I can't get past the relatively plain boxy look. I don't need to do a bunch of mods and I don't intend to race my car, so it really isn't for me. Plus, I keep hearing that they aren't too comfortable and I spend about two hours a day in my car to and from work, so comfort is very important.
Now, if it came in pink I might be tempted.

Funny thing is that here in New Zealand there are loads of Evos and WRXs and very few RX8s. However, in my recent travels to NY and DC I saw more Evos, WRXs and 350Zs (hordes of them!) than 8s which is rather at odds with what you guys are saying. And I was looking!
