no I meant the car vs girl site. My one bud is addicted to buying up domain names, who knows maybe it will pay off for him.

That's funny. I guess it's true, whenever you have an idea four other people think of it too. Like once me and my friend thought it would be cool if there was a restaurant that only served cereal. As dumb as that was I've heard of two such places.

Congrats and Welcome! :p

I'm sorry but..I would understand (somewhat) if it were YOUR parents telling you this... but your FIANCEE's parents..?? Aahh NO! Who are they to you, nothing!! Soooo, If you and your significant other can come to an agreement to something that you've ALREADY done..then great...if not, then it's probably a taste of what's to come! It could only get worse after the "I do's"...!! Besides, what's to bee practical about now? You're just getting married, it's not like you're having kids tomorrow...and if you did...car seats do fit in the RX-8...they actually have a "quick release" in case of an emergency.... So tell me they didn't think about family..

Yeah no kids in the near future but with all the safety features I think it's a pretty good family car too.

I've really come to the conclusion that it is just about control.
Her parents (and her) are very controlling and demanding.
They can preach to me all they want but this car is not going anywhere! I'm so mad that if anything I should be trading in my woman.

Congrats on the car!

If the marriage is really meant to be, then a car won't be able to get between the two of you.

It's a shame they don't come with warranty coverage.

You and your fiancee must work this through. Otherwise it will come back to haunt you post wedding day. She & her parents will always blame future opportunities on your car. Work it out. Either keep or sell the car. But it must be a joint decision. Welcome to married life.
