alright, i had my oil changed and instead of using 5w-20 they used 5w-30. does this matter? the guy told me that there wasnt a big difference and not to worry, but i just want to make sure. is there a post about this some where else, i searched but oouldnt find one. thanks!!

 

They're the same when cold. The 5w-30 will be a little thicker when it's hot. No big deal really, I've been using 5w-30 for 45000 miles.

 

This shouldn't matter too much, so I wouldn't worry.

Here, this is a great site: http://www.rotaryengineillustrated.com. I remember there was a section on oil in here, not sure if it's still there. You could give it a shot.

 

Id be upset just because they didnt put in the correct oil. Hopefully it was free because they screwed up...?
