Yes its mr worse day again

Yes it's me, im back with another story, but guess what i got issued today............. A cop issued me 6 tickets at once out in Nassau county NY, I got the biggest bullsh!t tickets known to man, and I can only understand three of them, since he refused to expalin to me....

1 --was for not having my license, in which I did have it on me, he asked me for it and I looked in my pocket and I didnt have it in there, then he walked away and when he came back I showed it to him ( mind you this is before he wrote the ticket)

2 -- he wrote a ticket for not having my insurance card on me, when he never even asked me for it

3 -- this one is total bs, the ticket is for not properly using my signal, in reality i was driving on the right lane i put on my turn signal looked over my left and passed the car with much distance in front of me, ( mind u I always use my turn signals, It irritates me when people dont use it)

4,5,6 I dont understand what they arefor, he just put abbreviations in a handwriting I cant even understand,

I know for the most part I can get these easily taken out of in court, just the fact that I got these tickets in Ny and I live in Florida,

Man I hate cops. I only like detectives, they actually do **** that's important.

Ticket for improperly using a turn signal, that is such bullshit. What's next? Tickets for changing lanes to fast, or for making an unsmooth left turn? Goddamn police state America is.

Maybe he saw that you were speeding, didn't have time to clock you, and decided to give you the BS tickets to make up for it.

I once got a BS speeding ticket when I know I wasn't speeding. I decided to take it without complaining. The fact that my buddy was hiding two half-empty beer bottles between his knees had nothing to do with it...

Aw c'mon, we were all young and stupid once.

It's not true that cops write tickets in order to make quotas, just ask Michael Bloomberg Ticket quotas are actually illegal in most cases, but even when they exist they're usually very low.

I get the feeling you're leaving a lot out of this story and you must have done something to **** this guy off for him to write you 6 tickets. It's like the nonsense stories my 19 year old nephew tells me, the whole truth comes out after about 20 minutes of prying it out of him. Lastly, why the hell would you take 3 tickets and not ask or try to understand what they're for.

how the hell do you earn 6 tickets at once? is that even possible?

It would be interesting to know what "4, 5, 6" said in their abbreviated form at least so as to at least try to guess what they are. I have to agree with Ike () on accepting tickets that you don't understand or know what they are for.

Yup! Someone like that and posted in the lounge. They got one for "Changing lanes to fast". I told him you cant go from left to right. You have to stay in one lane for at least 5seconds. He was like BS!

So, he had ou there for at least an hour. Think how many other tickets he could have gone out and written in that one hour?

More than likely you did/said something to **** him off early on in the event, like not calling him Sir, and questioning his authority, and THAT is what made him write all the other tickets. If you'd just said "sorry sir it won't happen again" you'd have been on your way in 5 minutes.

are you serious- the guys in the uniforms do the job WE GIVE THEM TO DO. and i think for instance PULLING DRUNK DRIVERS off the street is **** that's ACTUALLY important. Enforcing the trafic law is important for public SAFETY. if you think the law they are enforing is wrong then go tell it to the LAWMAKERS that you ELECT.

I'm actually disappointed, I thought you might had a flat to one of your tires.

What's the real story? I know there's more to the story than what's being told here.

Well for one i do respect law enforcement, My mom is a cop a whole bunch of my cousins and other relatives are, and the fact that I will be one to in about 2 years as well. And no I didnt disrespect him at all, I know how to handle being pulled over and what not to say and what to say and how to hold my body as well ( I am a criminal justice major by the way) , and no there isnt anything im leaving out the story. I just happened to get the ******* cop of the day who happened to be following me for about a mile or so. I also know it does hurt that I have a florida license plate and im in NY.

And for whom said quotas dont exist, that's a lie. They are in effect but they arent called quotas, they are called productivity. There isnt a certain number you have to reach, it just has to be in that area, like in Miami you need around 130 tickets a month from each officer. So in a sense it's not a quota but it just shows that the cop is doin their job. Even if they really arent doing their job.

I second that. And it's a bit of a sensitive issue up here in Canada, where we just had two RCMP officers shot and killed, sniper-style, by the guy they were chasing. He was involved in domestic dispute, got chased by the RCMP. He ran into the woods with a long-barrel gun, and shot each in the head when they followed him.

The guy is a known, and self-admitted, cop hater. He turned himself in later, and faces two first-degree murder charges, plus an attempted murder charge (he attempted to kill a third RCMP officer the same way).

Last year we had four RCMP die. They were in a barn owned by another admitted cop-hater. The barn was a grow-op, but the RCMP didn't know the owner was in the barn. He ambushed them with automatic weapons before killing himself.

So I don't have a warm feeling toward anyone calling themselves cop haters.

Why didn't you just give him the secret handshake? Have they gotten to that in criminal justice school yet?

And I agree that there must be more to the story. It's possible you caught the cop on his worst day ever, and there are some really ignorant cops; but this seems over the top even for the worst of them.

well I know he was pissed for one, because being im an out of state license driver it takes them like a half hour to search you up through the system, and to be quite honest with you, my profile alone kills me, being a young man with a hooked up car, in an middle-income area, with florida plates. Like i've been followed before around this area, but they usually just tag for a while and then will cut off after a while, nothing serious. It pisses me off because I left my wallet with the badge and pba card in florida. Im going to stop at my neighbors house tomm and pick up one of those Dea cards.

You shouldn't have posted this. It only aggravates me even more. If they ever bring speed cameras to California I'm gonna start a riot.
