i just bought an 07 GT rx-8 AT, why bother with the hassle of manual, rip me all you want, i can drive a stick fine, my old honda was stick but it was a pain in the *** in traffic. I honestly LOVE sportronic shifting but only on the paddles, using the stick is slow, paddles have a very fast response, faster than i could ever possibly shift with a clutch. So drive your AT's using paddle shifters, fun and easy to throw into AT once your just cruisin down the hwy or entering traffic.

 

oh as for you shouldn't own an rx-8 if...

you cant afford gas
you cant afford the GT package and opt for the sport - lol

After reading all these posts,,, I have to agree,,, this thread is useless.

 

710 cap is yellow and sits in the middle of the engine bay close to the firewall.

When someone asks how many cylinders the engine has and you reply two...
