Zoom Zoom magazine
I just received what looks to be a Mazda magazine called ZoomZoom. Anyone received it? It's not bad. Interesting it has a large article on the RX-8 and rotary engine. Jay Leno was interviewed about owning the Cosmo and th RX-8 (he has a black one) Mostly MX-5 and RX-8 stuff.

Sounds cool. Only thing in my box today was a partially torn Road & Track. Do you know if this is a replacement for the Mazdasport mag they passed out at the Zoom zoom live events, and then wanted money for subscriptions?

there's no price on it. I think it's a quarterly thing. It reads Fall 2007. It's almost like one of those lifestyle mags where it has other articles non-car related. It's definitely from Mazda though with an opening note from the Dir of Customer Experience & Loyalty playing with an FD remote control car in the middle of a street.

Lifestyle...ha ha. I remember I used to get the Acura one in the mid to late 90s; seems like the focus went less and less on their cars (which were lame anyway except for the NSX and ITR) and more on dining and travel. These days, the Lexus mag is 10 times worse than that one-- the emphasis is on spas/travel/hell, anything but their bread and butter automobiles- freakin' windsurfing articles and eating clams .

So is BMW and MB. Watches, boats, some travel stuff. One article of their new car. This Mazda one atleast has main article for mx-5 and the rotary engine. I used to receive Subaru magazines when I had subarus. It's quite outdoors oriented with features on Lance Armstrong and some extreme sports stuff. But later with Rally emphasis which was nice.

Long on style, short on substance. Not enough RX-8 info/photos. And the concept car photos were at such artsy-fartsy angles that you can't even tell what they look like. I don't need to see the head of the design department twice, either. Meh.
