2006 rx8
Does anyone know when the 2006 model is coming out?
I want to buy, but don't want to if they are making improvments for 06.
or maybe i can get a killer deal on a 05 when they come out!

They are selling them full force, they had to stop until the recall was done to the cars. There is a whole thread on the 2006 cars I would suspect Mazda to wait to release the 2006 until they start to run out of the 05 models.
The only people that the 06 models will effect is if you are buying a auto trans they are doing a slight power increase. Other than that mostly the same, do a search this has been talked about alot.

it is not speculation!!!!! job 1 is this month. it takes about a month before they load a ship and then a month for the ship to get to port. mid december will see SOME 06's on the lots. everything there about the color changes in the MAZDA SPEC DECK and on the ORDER FORM is the actuall MAZDA info.

The new 2006 RX-8 was on display at SevenStock. Besides the new Galaxy Grey
color there appeared to be little change on the exterior. You could see the recievers on the door handles for the keyless entry. Also the leather seats no longer have the rubber stripped inserts (all leather now). Engine compartment had a few changes. Car had new six speed auto. See pic in Rotarygod Brillo blog
