That's a very flattering review. I don't agree about all the low-end torque…
"…Even without using the upper half of its rev band, the RX-8 has no difficulty in providing spirited performance thanks to the production of strong, low-end torque. The presence of abundant low-end pulling power minimizes the need to repeatedly gear-down when wishing to reposition oneself in traffic."
…and I don't find the car to be especially noisy. (And I hate when people say "utilize" instead of "use". Who teaches these people to write?) But overall, he pretty much "gets" the car.

Nice write up. I do wish the rear seats, at least one side, would fold down.
I guess he must be used to driving even more torqueless wonders to think our beloved RX-8 has enough down low.
