Amoco Ultimate Ride Sweepstake
http://www.bp.com/genericarticle.do?...tentId=7034209
They teamed up with top tuner Jay Laub, to create the Amoco Ultimate® Ride – a one of a kind, custom built Mazda RX-8. The sweepstakes marks the first time Jay Laub has ever given away one of his latest creations. The stock model RX-8 has undergone a custom build-out – interior and exterior modifications, new audio/visual modifications, engine performance upgrades, new body kit and of course – Jay Laub’s signature paint scheme. Someone’s going to drive away a winner.
Read this in one of the tuner magazines. Just thought the 8 community should know if not already.
PS: sorry if repost.

that sucks... then it'll be like a new rx8 +$10k (which would cover the pettit sc and other mods...) I guess what you really win is the unique opportunity to purchase a modded car.
dunno if i'm into that cross-stitching interior yet, but I've never seen the front bumper b4... anybody kno wut it is? and are those the AME tracers that lazi has?

The Grand Prize winner will receive an IRS Form 1099 for the value of the prize. All federal, state and local taxes, insurance, registration, title fees and any other costs and expenses not listed herein as being provided related to the acceptance and use of vehicle are the sole responsibility of the winner.
Geez! Looks like whoever wins actually loses. Sweepstakes are such scams now days. Could win it and move out of the states.

I just don't see how this thing could be worth 72k...
Taxes on that would be pretty huge... It'd still definitely be worth it, but it's kind of unfair that they're putting the value of that car at $72,000... I could have an 8 built that's a hell of a lot better than that for 72k.

Im Kidding. My Son Has A 90 Crx-si Zc We Built Together, And A 90 240sx In Pieces. I'm An Old Fart Motor Head. Thats Why We Went To Nopi In 05 And 06. This Is The First Time I "posted", So Im New To This "internet" Thing. All The Comments On The Jay Laub Ultimate Rx8 Have Been Pretty Negative, And Im Unfamiliar With Rotaries In General, So I Wanted To Get Some Feedback On This Bright Green Rx8.
