the new RX-8 is an amazing car to drive quickly, but its unforgivingness is best left to professionals on closed courses.
Was this guy born in a FWD minivan?
Oh wait, I'm not a professionaly, a privateer rather, and I do play on closed (road) courses frequently.

"That point will come with a temporary slip in concentration, and the RX-8 will turn on you like a Rottweiler on a Miniature Poodle. The rear tends to snap out with little effort, but keep your head about you and you'll stay in control. "
Huuh??? Is this guy talking about driving to the grocery store? Or otherwise.....if one is ACTUALLY driving that far into it, are you going to have *a temporary slip in concentration*? Then you're an idiot or just want to behave like one.
Maybe he was on black ice? I haven't been in a position where my 8 has *turned on me*, *snapped out with little effort* or anything even remotely close.... esp. when "the wheels firmly planted on the pavement on a smooth bit of twisty pavement ... "
Otherwise he likes the car...so I guess he's only recommending it to his "professional friends"???. Guess I'd best ONLY drive my 8 on a race course! Come to think of it, that does sound kinda nice after all! Thanks Joe.
