In general, they take issue with oil and gas consumption, but love the rest of the car.

I have burned through about 1qt and I am at 3300 miles roughly. The difficult part is finding 5w20 non-synthetic. For now I am using a blend. My milage is also significantly better, averaging 18.5 with normal hard driving, 16.9 when I am really really heavy on the throttle, and 21.8 on a recent highway trip averaging 85 mph (speed limit is 75 in the desert). I guess I have a good rotary engine...

I found 5w20 non synthetic at virtually all auto stores here that I've looked at. I now carry a qt of oil fastened to the flat tire kit.
1 qt added in ~3500 miles, but that may be a bit off because I had the first oil change at 1200 miles.

Our local Auto Zone only had synthetics or blends in 5-20, other than a mineral formulated for "high milage" cars. The high milage car thing may just be an advertising ploy but I stayed away from it. The Checker Auto Parts down the street was similar, except the 5-20 mineral was formulated for "SUVs" (i think it was casteroil), again probably just a marketing thing, but... I ended up with motorcraft blended 5-20.
