Autoweek wants US!
The new issue of Autoweek is asking for owners of several types of cars - including the RX-8 - to respond with the following:
"We need to know when you bought it, what you paid, your opinions and other vehicles you considered. Include your mailing address, phone number and vehicle identification number (VIN)."

Lets let them hear it, this would be the time to let them know how much we LOVE this car..............

Apparently you don't, so why mention it? They already have all my personal info, since I had a subscription- and I really don't care about the VIN #. It's not like Autoweek, of all organizations, is going to steal my car or something.

this is great. I hope that we keep away from the picky little things as they contact each of us. Read the article on the G35 coupe. People shared everything - good BUT rather than a complaint we should focus on what we would like to see rather than I dont like this or that.

Did you read the cover story #3 (Feb 2003)? Autoweek called the RX-8 a 'sporty, not sports car' - I don't know what it will take to convince them - Mid front engine, rear wheel drive, serious suspension and braking harware and an engine that lives to rev, plus a great shifting transmission and superb handling.
Maybe it's just me, but the only thing different from THIS sports car and all others is the extra 2 seats. Autoweek needs to take off the blinders.

Sort of off topic but not, a girl I work with mentioned hearing about people writing down your VIN say at the grocery and then going to Mazda to get a new key, but that is BS, I think your key has a special #, and my dealer knows me, I spent about a week up there negotiating a finance rate.
