but i'll give you an "E" for effort:...you can never have enough threads about the 8 being sports coupe of teh year

ona side note aren't sports coupes all 2 doors? thought that wold taken us out of teh running...ah well guess we are just too cool:D

 

my registration and insurance cards both say 4dr coupe

MIght say it, but it's an oxymoron. A coupe has two doors, by definition. Of course, no one said that Mazda designers were constrained by tradition.

 

Someone should tell "MSN" that the crash rateings for the RX8 are out, and THEY ARE GOOD!

that's the whole point though isnt it? the RX-8 changed the definiton. thats what the designers set out to do- make a whole new breed of sports car. and along the way they shattered the traditional coupe definiton.
