If you want to see a list of "nicer cars to upgrade to" which the above list is not a list of, we can easily make one like this:
Civic ---> G35
350z ---> Porsche
S2000 ---> BMW Z4
RX8 ---> Enzo, Aurea prototype, et al
RX8 with fender strakes ---> Crossfire
Now, if anyone ever thought a Corvette, Porsche 911, Lamborghini, or Mercedes SLK had anything in common with an RX8, I would have to slap myself in the face. Fortunately that list does not imply that there are any similarities.

For all we know, the RX8 could have received many web browser requests on MSN Autos due to curiosity or skepticism generated by the negative media buzz surrounding its recall and supposed problems. Also, someone who looked up one car, does not necessarily mean that they even know about the existence of the other cars.

No matter how high we try to soar in the air, there's always SOMEONE with a missle to shoot us down.

I saw the list myself this morning while researching the 335i. As the other poster said it doesn't mean anything. People might be curious about it for the wrong reasons. Take a look at the sales numbers and resale value. Numbers don't lie. This is one of the least desired cars on the road...

Guess that makes you a real dumb sh--t for buying one in 05.

I understand the sales numbers suck ***... But why is it that everyone around here loves the car? Most have no idea what it is... Just makes no sense sometimes. I know the answer here, just feel like ranting, damn you Mazda. It's a love-hate relationship.
