Charles is away in jail. He could be out as early as mid Aug, but that is as early as he could get for good behavior. I talked to him the day before he left because he was going to help me put in my new tranny when I return from Korea, but before I have to report to Ft Hood. Man I hope he gets out.

He has a black 8 with a spoiler. He's got a few aftermarket stickers on the bottom of the rear door and around the wheel well.

 

He drag races. He came out with us GA RX-8 club folks and did a NASA HPDE event. Great guy.

 

I think he said something about getting his license revoked for 6 months. Not sure what that has to do with posting, but I think its been a good 1.5 months now, so until then I'll patiently wait for his return.

Um they don't just throw people in jail for hitting the bottle too much... It would even take multiple DUIs to get 6 months in jail.

Way to go genius, you figured it out! Charles is a really good guy that hit some bad bumps in the road and is hell bent on getting his life together.

seeing as how he was driving around drunk, those bad bumps wouldn't have been other people would they? maybe some cars? or the family pet?

 

I've known Charles ever since I've been on this forum, but I never knew he was in trouble with the law until I thumbed through this thread. Well, since it's August, hopefully he'll be getting off the hook. He's a good guy and we helped each other figure out his nitrous setup when he first started.

BTW, good for him for stomping SCC. That rag has gone down the toilet since I started reading in 1999.
