What's all this then?
New trans changes? What trans changes?
And if changed...would it make sense to wait to take yours into the dealer for an in warranty trans replacement which would then get the new trans changes with the replacement?
Huuuuummmmmm???

I get to eat crow on the Recaro seats not having airbags. I guess they're in part of the rear shell.
Clear corners are going to be a darned expensive proposition with those headlights. I was hoping they'd put the orange reflectors in the side markers.

I enhanced the photo and I was able to pull this from the LCD.
Hmmm.
This may have to do with the lack of performance updates.

so, the rs seats (recaro) DO have airbags, but the ms version seats do not??
yes - can anyone that has made the switch to 4.77 talk about fuel economy? i'm surprised they didn't talk about it at naias...

Shorter gears = worse fuel economy...unless if somehow the engine it self is much more efficient.

best looking chop yet. that looks really nice.
interior of course looks nice. but im not so sure about the rest.
unless this comes with the new 16x im not jealous at all. if it does.. well i guess i have to go to the dealership and see how much my car is worth as a trade in. and maybe go for a base model.

It's definitely NOT coming with the 16X--that's still a couple years out. Nice chop BTW.

i don't know anything about gearing, and what 4.77 means ... but according to what you're saying, they could put a 4.77 or whatever in, giving better acceleration, but they could STILL put in a "longer" 6th gear? best of both worlds, better acc in 1-5, but still have 6th for pure highway/fuel economy?

With those wheels/tires and the 4.44 gearing:
Speed at 3500 RPM 15.7 26.0 35.9 49.7 59.0 70.0
With those wheels/tires and the 4.777 gearing:
Speed at 3500 RPM 14.6 24.2 33.4 46.2 54.9 65.1
Gear ratio required for 6th gear to have the same speed at 3500 RPM: .784 (vs .843 in the current tranny)
So, to be taller with that final drive, you'd have to be lower than .784.
