- or the PS2 Logitech Driving Force Pro ($150) I have not hooked mine up yet. I may save it for GT4 since it optimized for it. It has over 360 degrees rotatation & has a stick shift. I assume it is built more rugged but time will tell. I got mine and bought the warrenty for ~$15. I normally would never get a warrenty but if you do a lot driving like me (+20,000 miles) you will wear them out.
Don't get the new MOMO wheel (black). Most other wheels either do not work or work poorly. I had a wheel made for the playstation by logitech (it is blue) that would not let you shift when the wheel was turned and did not brake at 100%.

I feel I should comment on the new Logitech Driving Force Pro, that GT4 is being optimized for since I've played Prologue on it quite a bit. It's not just 360 degrees of rotation, it's 900 degrees, or 2.5 turns lock to lock, just like a real car. The result is that you will have to turn the wheel about the same amount as a real car when you play, to the point that you will be doing hand over hand flailing when you are trying to save yourself in a spin. It's quite realistic, but some gamers mistakenly interpret this as being less responsive. Also, the resolution of the wheel is improved over the older Logitech wheel so that smaller, more subtle wheel movements are correctly picked up by the game. The force feedback is similar to the older wheel, but it is supposed to be stronger. I haven't played back-to-back, so I can't comment on that.

I just started F1 2001 using Logitech Driving Force Pro. So far I don't like it as much as GT3, but I have done all there is to do in GT3. Can't wait to GT4. I hope they get the RX-8 gear ratio's right in GT4.
By the way, I got the 3 year extended warrenty for 18 dollars at Best Buy. I wore out my MOMO wheel in about a year so I decided to get it. This wheel may last longer but 3 years is a long time. (Normally I never get that stuff).

Actually, they will have the 2004 Mazda RX8 Mazdaspeed... and this is Forza Motorsport screen shots.
You can even download how the car will sound over here.

sounds good, game sounds pretty cool, it'll be nice to have a GT4 alternative out there. did anyone happen to notice how many early model RX cars are in that game? GT4 looks to have the rx2-3, 1-3 gen of the 7 etc. I may have to go on sabbatical when this game comes out

I have a modded PS2. I played the PAL version of GT4 Prologue, and I was impressed with the graphics and detail of the cars. But the one thing I could not stand, are the camera views from behind the car as your racing. It feels like they rendered the cars in one spot, and the track moves around the car. I dont get the feeling that I'm racing or driving the car for that matter. It feels like I'm controlling the track's movement. This game is still in development and thank God for that. Let's hope we have a winner. BTW, Rallisport Challenge 2 on the Xbox kills all.

can you play your own music in rallisport 2? or does anyone know which xbox drving games allow you to do this? I play a lot of Tony Hawk 3 since it lets me play my own tunes and it's one of those games I never get tired of, kinda' like the old super mario stuff. I wonder if NFSU 2 will allow this.
