Kicker teams up with Mazda

Fortunately Mazda didn't team up with Kicker. That is a Circuit City built car using Kicker and eclipse products and it is Circuit City that is giving it away. Kicker had no part in it. I was in Custom Car audio for nearly a decade and was a part of the Kicker team myself for a couple of years (man have I got some great stories with those guys!). If they built a car, it would be on their website and they would be promoting it elsewhere.

hehe entered the contest why the hell not! 2 8's are better than one right?!
Interesting choice in the Rx-8 though. Most company sponsor built cars like this are either Civic's or Scion's nowadays that I have seen.

I've seen them at car shows this year, gotta' say I REALLY hate the whole "roadshow" thing. It's total and complete bullshit and misleading as neither circuit city nor best buy do custom work, and to advertise at car shows like they do and be all whatever is just wrong and deceptive. The car I've seen is wack anyway, some fiberglass in the trunk and an aftermarket unit in the dash, sounded like crap and kept the hood closed all weekend while it was pretending to be a show car.

I think Kicker makes a good product, but I totally HATE the false sense that Circuit City and Best Buy are putting out.
"oh ****, you mean all these guys have money too ?!? we better jump on that, get out to some shows, set up some huge trailers, it'll be good for business!"
"but boss, what if they want us to do custom work like the cars at the show we're displaying?"
"........er.......um........."
ugh
