There is one enemy that I have yet to beat, the "cannot read referenced memory error." I need to flash my BIOS, but I can't find a bootdisk creator and don't have Win98 accesible to me. Anyone have suggestions?

In reference to the changable video card question, Clevo is the manufacturer of the Sager notebooks (and many others) The 9860 is the exact same notebook as the Alienware 7700 (except costs alot less and lacks the alienhead on the lid). Clevo has made most of Alienware laptops, Hypersonic, Voodoo, Sager etc for a long time now. Alienware tried to make their own laptops with the 5500 (which I unforunately purchased) and it is not so good. I agree that Sager 9860 is probably the best DTR lappy you can buy right now. So yes you can change out the video card out in the Sager 9860, and the processor, and the HD's and the Dual optical drives!

Anyone out there have or know about the Cyberpower systems?? Bought their Xplorer X800 Laptop, 64 AMD processor, a few months back from their website (cyberpowerpc.com), and then had to return it a few months later 'cause power supply circuits went bad.. Was playing HL2 (computer purchase came with a free Steam download of HL2) when it broke down.

Cyberpower uses the cheapest PS and MB they can for their systems - usually these are the first two parts to go. I've bought 2 systems from them, on both systems replaced the MB and PS and they're still ticking 5 years and 2 years later (respectively).

Cyberpower system

Thanx for the tip.. Hopefully, when I get it back, I should be good for at least 5 more years also.

^Last I knew you could still login to steam on your new pc? On my new PC I installed HL...logged into steam..and it worked. I think it's just if two keys are in use at the same time that you get in trouble...

That's how it is. I put HL2 on my new computer by CD and it still worked.

I installed HL2 on my new PC. When I open steam though it prompts me to enter my cd key, then tells me it is all ready in use
