Some noticables:

Mazda6 - #19
Mazda3 - #17
Miata - #15
RX8 - #14

Not too bad for Mazda...

Did anyone notice that the Ford fusion, the savior of the ford company, finished at #145...

Also lots of Mercedes in the triple digit columns...

Not my statement that you picked up on, but I personally like the acceleration from 20-42 on this car. And compared to every other car that I have owned, the acceleration is indeed great.

Isn't the Ford Fusion built around the Mazda 6 chassis?

i dont know about the rankings, some are quite a bit skewed. i like the S2000 but to give it 4 starts on comfort/practicality, is there one thing practical about it? And how the celica is even on the list, let alone 13, is beyond me.

I don't think the problem is with the chasis, or maybe even the car, but with ford's quality control...and there's the difference...

Problem is this is an owner survey and not a scientific study. The results can be skewed. Cool to see anyway!

our car is always rated good by the pros but the consumers never think much of mazda when you tell them what you drive. Well we know at least

Squeaks & Rattles got a 4 out of 5??? Who the hell were they talking to?

Other than that I love my car and I'm glad to see it finished so well.

If they asked me I would have said it has no squeaks or rattles, because mine does not. I get lots of road noise but that has to more to do with my tires.

I assume it means 4 out of 5 with a 5 meaning no squeaks or rattles.

I think that 4 out of 5 means that 80% of the time you hear squeaks and rattles. Maybe in England, rattles are a good thing.
