You guys seen this? I drive to my local Mazda Dealer just to get this mag.
In the new issue there is a Black RX-8 from So.Cal thats Turboed. I was like wow! how the hell did this guy get in here? I mean dont get me wrong but I have seen better 8's, Not that his is bad but it just looks stock to me aside from whats under the hood.

The mag is called 'Fuel' by the way and it's a pretty boring piece that is really an internal dealer intended thing. Most of the news in it I've already seen in Aotoweek or Automotive news or Rotarynews.com or even on this forum. It's probably helpful to some of the dealer staff, salespeople etc because very few are the type of enthusiasts that keep up with Mazda news on their own.

Yes, its a dealer's publication and intended to "educate" the average salesman (which is not an auto enthusiast as they'd like you to believe) on how to "maximize profits"
I love Mazda's products, but when i can get the salesman to say "well, you oviously know more about this model than I do" within the first 3 minutes of talking to him... You know he needs to read more on his "Fuel", (or Mazdasport Magazine, Or RX Tuner for that matter, those should be required to have them in the waiting room of evry self respecting Mazda Dealership)

This may come as a shock to some of you, but there are people who actually prefer cars that are not overly customized. Personally I would be more interested in what performance mods have been made as compared to "body kits/parts" have been added.

What i meant by my statement, was that wheter it is good or bad, I would rather read about someone who has done a modification (big or small) , (successful/not) to the drivetrain/chassis rather than what carbon fiber spoiler or paint job they have on this week. Just my opinion.

How the hell did you get your car in that mag?
You should do a follow-up.

Hahaha I met this lady at a show a few time, and had always complemented me. The she told me she worked for mazda. I was excited. Anyways I was at work and she called. Saying that mazda magazine wants an rx8 and she wanted me in it.
