Mazda Launches Zoom-Zoom Magazine
http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do...ticleId=123105
HIROSHIMA, Japan — It's a kind of coming-of-age moment when an automotive brand begins publishing its own magazine. That step is a given with upscale brands like Audi and BMW, but now Mazda is joining the pack with the rollout of Zoom-Zoom, which will be published three times a year.
The inaugural U.S. edition issue has features on the 40th anniversary of the rotary engine and racing at Laguna Seca. "The magazine covers a wide range of topics to bring the spirit of the Mazda brand closer to readers, with some content on Mazda products and news along with stories about Mazda's people," the company said in a statement.
The publication is produced in five languages and will be distributed to eight countries through the end of October.
What this means to you: A nice collector's item for Mazda fans — or at least some good reading material while you're getting your Mazda RX-8 serviced.

Did you guys get the Intersections magazine? The first issue of Zoom-Zoom was pretty good. They had a few interviews with Van Den Acker and a other Mazda employees. What saddens me was that they interviewed this one worker who assembles Renesis engines and says that he's trying to save enough money to buy an RX-8. But Van Den Acker seems to be a pretty cool guy... he drives a Grey 8 and gave a tour about his new life in Hiroshima.

Got one while back. It has a nice article on the history of the Rotary and MX-5 writeup in Italy. Nice to know that Leno also owns and RX-8.

Read through my copy of ZOOM ZOOM & was mildly impressed, its a start at least.
Nice pic of the worlds richest rotorhead in there too.
History piece about the years of each rotary vehicle was good (for the masses) & accurate until you got to the FD RX-7 where the writer disregarded the "international printing" of ZOOM-ZOOM & fell into the USA trap. Despite the true date of 1992 for the domestic + international release of the FD RX-7, it was sad to see it printed as 1993.
Small but significant failure. (Yes, I know I am being **** but enthusiasts pride themselves on the finer details)
Looking forward to the next issue
