Mazda MPV (Premacy) Gets JD Powers Award - Mazda Owners' Satisfaction

The Mazda Premacy has come top in the What Car? J.D. Power Customer Satisfaction Index for MPVs, beating off rivals such as Mitsubishi Space Star, Vauxhall Zafira and Renault Scenic.
Over 24,000 owners of X and Y registered cars were surveyed to produce the index. Each owner answered over 100 questions, covering everything from reliability, dealer service and running costs to ride and handling.
"The best way to find out what a car is really like is to live with it," said What Car?'s editor, Rob Aherne. "The J.D. Power Customer Satisfaction Index is the ultimate short-cut to acquiring that knowledge."
The Mazda Premacy was launched in 1999 and has been a popular choice for those who want something different to the volume brands available. The Premacy is a very functional MPV, available as either a five or seven seat version, and is fun to drive and very well equipped with Mazda reliability as standard. Powered by a choice of 1.8 or 2.0-litre petrol engine or 2.0-litre diesel the Mazda Premacy starts at just £12,995 on the road and is great value for money.
The Mazda Premacy had an overall customer satisfaction index of 81.9%, while other Mazda cars in the survey also fared well. Mazda 626 was 13th overall with a CSI of 83.5%, Mazda Demio was 29th with 81.8%, Mazda 323 29th= with 81.8% and Mazda MX-5 52nd with 80.2%.
"Mazda is known for its reliability and craftsmanship," said Rob Lindley, Marketing Director Mazda Cars UK Ltd. "Mazda is also known for the fun factor; these cars are functional but also great fun to drive, put together Mazda produces cars that really are satisfying to drive."
