This is the translation I got from that Mazda Japan page concerning power and fuel economy from Babelfish:
"Concerning the highest output maximum torque 10 15 mode fuel economy because of the rack equipment automobile we have not published."
Concerning the exhaust:
"Diameter of middle pipe from 60.5 in 65 modification The catalyser - (the catalyst) while contributing to output improvement by the fact that it modifies in Matsuda speed version private ones exhaust pressure in the high rotary limits approximately 45% was decreased."
Concerning the PCM:
"The private sport muffler & the catalyser - with, by the fact that room of the temperature which it occurs by the fact that it decreases exhaust temperature is used, it became possible to select the air/fuel expense which is optimum to put out power. Attendant upon this, the data of PCM is modified, furthermore torque rise is actualized with the inhalation pulsation effect due to the fresh air duct"
Concerning the air duct:
"Due to the adoption of the private fresh air duct, pressure fluctuation (resonance) occurring on the inhalation inside of pipe, making use of the inertia which it tries that inhalation efficiency as it improves, the mixture of the inhalation inside of pipe will continue to flow by raising the internal pressure, it actualizes the improvement of charging efficiency."
