Going to take a guess at 04-05, 06-08, and 09+? Due to the 4port to 6port change? Unless there is a pre-04 version in japan. Wait. Hydrogen. I correct my guess to a Hydrogen generation over there.

There was a lower hp rx8 model, lower than the 250, 238, 232. It was driven by Top Gear Clarkson, and it was a 228 hp model.
So, the releases have been anywhere from 228 hp to 250 hp. But still, a fairly narrow range. Should still be well above 200 hp by 2013.

He gave it a fair evaluation. Neutral, fair, and accurate. I think every journalist in the world is disappointed with the power, as is any owner who love power, and racing. (That was NOT meant to draw attacks on me by people who believe their car can do no wrong, it is just a personal observation.)

I think the Top Gear 228 is bhp, which is a different calculation from the 232 (or 238), and includes clutch/flywheel loss I believe. Not saying that our number isn't all over the board, but different calculations for a few of them at least.
